B6 Cylinder head bolts size

Hey guys, been a long time!
I tried searching this one out but couldn't find an answer... the head bolts, what size are they? I put a 13mm socket on them, but they felt loose. Tried a 12mm but it was too small. Don't wanna use the larger socket for fear of rounding out the bolts... any words of wisdom?
