What Is Our Power Steering Pressure

I need to modify my power steering pump to put out a lower pressure do I don't blow my turbo oil seals. but I need to know what it starts out at.

Ya some pumps run at over 2000psi so a by-pass system would be a must. Not sure how gallons per minute would be effected, I think a lot of pumps run around 1.5gpm and the turbo is using the oil as a coolant as well (unless your going with a water cooled turbo). So besides pressure gpm may need to be considered. Are the ps pump seals compatable with engine oil? Sorry more questions than answers. :lol:

Yea well my buddy is kind of a turbo god lol...hes telling me a power steering.pump will not work...

Well maybe not a ps pump but possibly another type of pump as long as you can get it driven off the engine. I was hesitant about using a ps pump as well.
