Engine shut downs when moving vaf

Post by DeadMaker »

Before a few months i made a bp swap. The vaf is holded with tire ups cause there is no room for the bolts.
When i move the vaf to a complete parallel position with the ground the rpm goes down and then the engine shut down.
When i leave it in the first position, which a little angle position to the ground, everything is normal. When i move it the engine goes off
I have no leak on the intake and the wire connection is fine..
Any ideas?

It could be weak or broken spring inside, stop by the junkyard and pull one off a protégé lx or maybe an escort gt. If the problem persists, check for corrosion somewhere... That's where I would start.
I HATE mechanic shops and LOVE junkyards!!
