Caleb T's REVAMPED Build

OK people! Here it is! My new beast! (minus a few bells and whistles...) It was an upgrade from my last shell, and the price was right. (traded Aaron for my black car, which he then sold)
Not 100% sure what the budget build will allow for a first try on a drive train. Either V6, or BP. I am hoping BP, but I need to source a cheep harness and ECU.

One (stolen) pic to get it started.

Well, Orange is Aaron's thing.. I have toyed with black, along with some other colors. It will however, be orange for the summer at least. Paint is the last thing on the schedule, motor is first!!

Here are a few parts waiting for installation!

The corbeau bracket, and (awesome) green tow hook were from Aaron for my birthday, and I got the camera for Christmas. (drag strip videos anyone?) The seat was traded for, and the harnesses were also from Aaron.

Have any ideas of my color theme? :D

I can't wait to ride around in this seat..

And one more thing...

More to come as soon as I get my delivery.... :twisted:

That seat might be old and worn, but its the most comfortable one you will ever find. If you ever decide to part ways and upgrade you have to let me know first :D

Hey Caleb would you be able to PM me the dimensions of those seat rails? I have been trying to find measurements on them for a while with no success. I have my recaros on a mix of MX-3 and 323 rails and I would like to lower my seat without destroying the stock rails.
Thanks

That Seat Bracket was for a Ford Escort originally.

Thanks! Aaron gave me the green wheels for my birthday a while back, and I figured I needed to run them regardless of my car color! I call it the "pumpkin car" lol. I like it in an abnoxious sort of way, but don't "love it". I definitely won't lose it in a parking lot!

I'll take the back bay in Aaron's garage any day! Haha. It's dry, any has lots of extra mx-3 parts, hahaha.

Got a few things buttoned up on Saturday. Motor is nearly ready to be dropped in, and will hopefully get the rest of the little things taken car of SOON.

More to come...

HUGE UPDATE:

The orange monster is ALIVE!!! I was able to do a test fire on the car last Saturday. Finally! It started right up!

So on the to do list is as follows:

* Attach downpipe, and weld up exhaust
*Finish installing radiator and coolant hoses
*flare brake lines to go to caliper hoses
*button up any remaining vacuum lines
* button up interior
*install inner tie rod boots
*install passenger ball joint
*get an alignment
*misc little crap
* DRIVE

Here are a few pics, enjoy. I'll get pics soon of the custom intake Aaron and I fabbed up. It was a fun little project I got to weld up at work...

The green wheels against the orange are growing on me... Looks better with all 4.

Comments welcomed!
