KLZE swap, no idle! [got it!]

I've been picking around the FAQs...

I set my TPS to just before the fan clicks on... now I'm stumped lol.

Have 92 mx-3, stuck in KLZE (94?). Thing fires up alright, but can't seem to nail idle. It hangs out around 3K then begins a slow decent to a sputtering death. If I tap the gas it jumps back up to 3K.... repeat.

I have a cold air with the stock JE-50 vaf, the mx-3 original ECU, the mx-3 engine harness, all position sensors plugged in I believe.

It does have six month old 87 in it, but I wouldn't think that would destroy my idle. The car purrs at 3 and 4K so I don't think there's a timing issue (i could be wrong thou)

Where should I start looking??

Alright, update...

Through some feathering of the gas I managed to get the car to idle for about 10 seconds. It did it about three times at slightly different rpms. Then it will drop out for a fraction of a second (almost like it missed) and that fucks my whole game up. It can even miss when it's jumping up. The other thing I considered is right now the vaf is pointed downward... could that put too much gravity on the cone?? That might explain why it works well opened up but chokes at low. Has anyone had any trouble with that?

And... rear o2 sensor is not hooked up. male/female plug issue
Car throws cel except when sputtering under 600 rpm

Got it. Used a curved neck mani... had sneaky nipple on back. Capped it off and instant idle.
