All 1.6 are for 1.6 and are the same despite the year
All 1.8 are for 1.8.
Don't trust ebay cheap springs.

All MX3 springs will fit your MX3. THe springs for a GS are made for a slightly heavier front end but otherwise they will work and they will still lower your car. I have GS(1.8L) springs on my RS(1.6L) and it's fine.

Yea ebay springs are crap . Bumpy a-- ride and major tire wear. Your better off saving and getting ksports. I had them before and best thing ever bought.

It depends, though. You can still get brand name springs on ebay. You just have to watch what brand you're buying! Other threads have covered that. Of course, lowering springs aren't as good as proper coilovers, but then some people have to save up just to afford lowering springs. :)
