No fuel please help>>>>>>>

The car is a 94 4cyl.

The engine harness was swapped to an escort gt/bp harness.
Running a GTX ecu and turbo.

For whatever reason there is no fuel..... The pump is good (pulled straight from a running car) but it won't run when the pins are jumped in the diagnostic box.

Also, the FP relay was swapped.

Even put in the escort gt ecu.

What else should I check to get fuel???

Ooph, I misread.

And you said the problem is existent in both your standalone(MS I think it was?) and an Escort GT ecu?

This is an all factory setup that my brother and I are doing.

The ecu's are FACTORY Escort GT and 323 GTX. It's a turbo install.

Damnit I'm reading this all wrong.

Is it a known good harness?

Pull up the wiring diagram and find which cables should be doing what, clean up some grounds and check some resistance's.

Wish I could be more help, good luck.

I would check that you have power and ground at the pump if it is not working. If you do, well replace the pump.. A good test light and a multimeter will help aid you in the diagnosis.

You will probably need to pull the wiring diag. for the Escort as it my be color coded differently. I seem to remember having an issue similar. Have you checked the relay to be good?

I would go through grounds, trace the wires and verify that all is where it should be. chances are something is not grounded right. After all that if you cannot find it. Run a 12v constant to the fuel pump to see if it kicks on. If it does I would try and start it. If it starts I would go as far as hooking it up to ignition switched 12v. It is kind of jimmy rigged but it could be an issue with the Ford harness and the mazda ECU and chassis.

Hope that helps a little

Make sure you didnt reverse your fuel lines as well, if they are backwards once it gets up to pressure the pump wont kick in. You are only using the engine harness from an EGT right? I know the chassis harness in them has a fuel cut off switch in the trunk that stops the fuel pump from running after a crash.
