Hey everyone, finally got my car on the road after many year after engine rebuild. However I just locked my keys in the car.. Does anyone know a trick to get in? I'd rather spend the $70 on something more useful then a tow truck to come unlock it

slim piece of metal,
jam it about 8in under the hatch on the left side of the keyhole,
slide abroubtly to the right passing under the hatch's latch.
*Caution-might scratch paint*
Climb in hatch, done.

Info i deducted after my car was broke into in Pitt

If you have the manual windows, you should be able to force them down.
Stand behind the drivers door and turn to face the front. Place both hands firmly against the middle of the window. Press the glass in towards the cabin lightly (for extra grip) and then apply downward pressure. The window should roll down.

tried and proven, my rear hatch's latch actually has that piece's rivet ground off and removed b/c of it. Theres a small hook tab that comes down fromthe top and pushes the latch over on the bottom section to open it, I had to prove how my car got broke in to my insurance at the time to get coverage... needless to say im no longer under that company any more.

something like this:
hatch> ""/'''
body> ----^---

I'm confused with your diagram. do you put the piece of metal up to the left of the lock hole up that little indent for your fingers?

There are 3 pictures of the latch.
The center picture has a little lever piece that is right next to the grabbing part.
Move this AWAY from the "grabbing part" and it will open the hatch.

Sounds too simple.
