Any reason that I am not getting any pressure on the clutch pedal after changing a faulty clutch master cylinder that failed on me while driving and which was leaking fluid into the car by the clutch pedal, tried 2 different new ones, still no luck. Tested both off the car and they are squirting fluid fine but no luck when installed. Also checked the slave cylinder for leaks and tried bleeding from there also but to no avail.

Any ideas, is there something special that needs to be done on Mazda MX-3?

Vehicle is a 1994/1995 Mazda MX3 1.6 DOHC 4cycl.

Did you properly bleed it after installation?

Bleeding the clutch can be a pain.

I suggest you google how to do it properly, the order is not the same as brakes.

If it doesn't work after an hour and a litre of trying, go buy another litre.... Its just stubborn sometimes.

Issue has been resolved, got my mechanic to look at it, he had to change both the master and slave clutch cylinders and spent a bit of time bleeding the system but everything is fine now.
