hello all this is my build thread for my 94 mx-3 (used to belong to pauleatstoomuch), gonna start by listing all of the new parts on the car, most by the previous owner but some by me then of course as i add on i post more... the plan is now to bp swap and boooooost!

Motor Specs:
B8 block
BP longnose crankshaft
B8 low comp pistons
BP05 head
BP05 cams
ARP head studs
And of course all new gaskets and essentials i.e. water pump...

Modifications and Miscellanious
VICS delete
Kia Sephia BP header
MX-3 1.6l ignition
MX-3 TPS
MX-3 MAF
Kia Sephia downpipe
B8 throttle body
BP fuel rail and injectors
G series trans swap
Power Torque Clutch and pressure plate stage 1
Custom trans mounts
Custom adapter plate for electronic VSS
Full 2.25 inch exhaust
CAI
And a B6 ecu powers everything

New control arms, tie rod ends and inner tie rods
Tokico black Escort ZX2 struts
New tires
All new bushings
New rotors, pads, and calipers
New wheel cylinders, shoes, and components
Corksport front strut bar
New hubs and wheel bearings
New drums
Intrax lowering springs
New strut mounts

Current Interior:
SE seats and door panels
New headliner
Pioneer headunit
JVC door speakers
Rockford Fosgate 400w mono amp
Kicker CB7 12" in a bandpass box
SE backseat
A nice dash cover
Original MX-3 floormats woot!
New OEM shift boot and knob

ANy reason you went with the b6 over the BP?

All of this is whats new in the car, and the bp is a common swap my buddy actually had a bpt swap that I was gonna trade my millenia s for, I just like doing ut up differently

GTX comes with a vj20 so I think Aaron is right.

And B6s aren't as common but they've been down before, rsobdoh has done a B6T and YouDirtyFox is in the middle of a build right now too.

Ahh so it must be a capri then now that I think about it my friend who I bought it off of did mention owning a capri in the past lol and I know f1 racing clucthes aren't the best :/

BF USDM 323 GTX's came with a VJ14...

Its a really small turbo.... On a stock B6T it'll flow enough for about 16 psi boost....

Ohhhh yeah I had completely forgotten about those! I assumed he meant the later ones that came with the BPTs.


That's a little gaffer but it'll still get the job done unless you wanna run high boost.

Believe me its not as small as a k03 which is what I had on my last car and yes I has pics ill post them up
