I've been trying to bleed my clutch today.

Are these bubbles acceptable ? Or should it be completly air free?

Everytime my GF presses the clutch these tiny bubbles come up

get all the air out you can or after a 20min drive you wont have your clutch... Hence why I gave in and bought a vacuum bleeder.

It helps if you get the car on a nice steep side hill with the passenger side elevated to get the bleed nipple above the rest of the slave cylinder and then bleed.

The bubbles are normal.. thats air coming out... You should be having her pump the clutch peddle 3 - 4 times with the bleeder closed.. Then have her hold the peddle down while you slowly crack the bleeder open.. Close the bleeder when fluid stops flowing out... With the bleeder closed, repeat the process.. Do this till you get no more bubbles...

Make sure you don't run out of fluid, top it up every 3 - 4 times you crack the bleeder open..

After replacing the clutch master cylinder(couple weeks ago) I was unable to get it to bleed out using this method. I had to use a technique I use here at the shop, mostly on accord/preludes. Pedal Down, open..then close. Pedal up, open, pedal down, close. Pumping would not help in my situation. I was able to get fluid out of the slave and build pressure behind the pedal.

There are a bunch of different ways to bleed a clutch... The method I stated is the most common and it answered his question about the bubbles...

For what it's worth, I do the pump method until I see very few bubbles, and then use the "single press" method just to be safe.

Works with brakes, works with clutches.

When doing it with this methode there is no more air coming out.

When I open the bleeder and than she pumps it, you get the small bubbles like in the video.

ya, dont pump it when the bleeder is open. Its just like doing brakes so you pump it up, hold it, then crack the bleeder. If its good when you first open it your fine.

I installed speed bleeder, makes bleeding brakes/clutch so much easier
