olmost no spark after disty swap.with pics

hi all.

i have a problem i have onmost no spark.
i have a new hei module and coil.

i whas running quite good.
but starting takes a few sec.

i wanted to try antoher disty to gain better start.
changed it with my spare one and the car wont start
set my old disty back still no start.

checked my wires.
check voltage input on the disty.
ther are good.

but 1 wire is dammaged see pic.
but it gives 5v on the conector thats ok?

can it be this?

where can i look now?

Well I would do a voltage drop before entering the connector before the damaged part (should be 12-14 volts) and if like you said after connector it is reading 5 volts you have severe resistance my friend.
