Buy a generic intake kit for a car that has roughly the same intake configuration, I think some of the mid 90's acura integri are a popular choice for us. You may also need the vaf adapter plate (basically an ally sheet with the holes in it and a bit of 2.5" pipe welded to it)

You can also post a WTB, I've sold in the past an intake pipe for $20 shipped, and a VAF for not much more.

unless you go to stand alone engine management, you'll need to keep your VAF so you'll need the adapter that ryan suggested (sounds like you have one)
BTW it's called an air filter, not a cyclone head

the air filter and adapter looks like this

there's no company that makes a CAI or anything for us anymore, well PRM racing makes intakes to but it still uses the crappy stock accordion tube and costs $250.
Just take ryan's advice and get the integra CAI which goes for like $50 or find someone who's selling their intake

you are making this harder than it needs to be. This is the most basic of mods.. don't really expect any performance.

if you were to mention that you have a 92-93 SOHC, this could have been over and done with a long time ago. Get the adaptor, some silicone couplers and a cheap ebay integra pipe.

It's not rocket science

You need to keep the VAF in the airflow, so make it fit with the adapter from the other thread.

i get what your saying but its sputters and black smoke ill change the pipe but i have a feeling its not going to stop the problem. i got black smoke and a sputter but not all the time and the idle dies at times. ill get the pipe and change it if not i was just trying to see any way i could avoid paying 150 for another mass airflow sensor

When I was running my DOHC B6 I made my own intake with some exhaust pipe I had bent at a local exhaust shop. By a couple steel fittings you can cut up and weld on to the tube for the vacuum lines and you are pretty much done. Only other thing you'll need is a few couplers to hold everything together. Or like others have mentioned buy one from another car that is similar and make it fit. I recently bought an ebay intake ($35) for a V6 Ford Probe that I modded to fit my recent KL-DE swap. Either way it's not a hard thing to do. Just takes some time and energy.

That link is total garbage. There are no nipples or anything to connect your lines to. That product is useless

i'll make it easy for you, this is basically what you want, you can get other types too.

Just search 92 integra cold air intake

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BCP-BLUE-90-93-A ... 1e6e5730ac

all you have to do is make a cut in the middle somewhere and 2 couplers to attach your VAF. done.
