what controls injection timing besides cam sensor and crank sensor, i have spark on time and 42psi fuel pressure between the two rails while cranking. someone also told me i could check for pulse by turning distributor by hand and i could here it. still no start. cranked for 30 sec and not even fire like there is no spark at all, but there is. all i can think of is the ecu? or does something else control injection? I really need my car and appreciate any help

Remove the disty cap and pull the disty out enough so you can rotate the rotor with the ignition switch ON. You should here the injectors pulse. Did you pull a spark plug wire off and check for spark by having the engine turned over while you watch (either pull a plug with it or put a plug on the end of the wire, ground it and turn the engine over). A big problem with our cars is the ignitor in the disty going bad. Check for spark first as it's the easiest.

Dans right our ignition coils are very prone to failure , in my old K8 mx3 i replaced everything i could but it was the ignition coil . took 30 minutes to fix and $ 350 dollars if you do it youre self and get a dealer part
