Looking for either the 4cyd. or the V6. the one i have was driven 30k miles without an air filter so when i bought it i had it looked at, rather buy a new engine then repair this hunk. Please respond with engine/price. Thanks (:

We need a bit more information.

A V6-I4 or vice versa swap is pretty involved, in which case you need basically a donor car.

The year matters, for the 4 cylinders. There were two, totally different options.

he needs a B6 SOHC. He has a 92 1.6l

Or we can try to convince him to get a BP

speaking of which will someone tell me what cars where given the gtr? I found a gtx but i didnt grab it because i was under the impression it cant hold a candle to the gtr.

It's the same with the gtx with some differences in exterior and i believe in the suspension too..

get the gtx. gtr's are hard to find. in the time you wait you could have a gtx in and enjoying it and if a gtr comes along scoop it up and swap it over. then sell the gtx.

gtx 180hp @ 8psi < gtr 210hp @ 8psi
gtx vj20 turbo < gtr vj23 turbo
gtx 4 lug - gtr 5 lug
those are the smallest first three things that come to mind. the motors alone are completly different aside from the power and turbo. read up on them.
the link also states the BF and BG chassis cars are simular which they are not.

How rare is the 1.8L K8-DE DOHC 24 Valve V6? i want to throw a V6 in if possible because me and my brother are trying to start an MX-3 Club here in Kansas City, and he's got the 95 V6.. so i gotta be able to keep up with him

BP will keep up if its healthy.

The v6 swap is not simple.

I just wanted to show him how the 323 gtr cars looks...Not the engine specifications.

I can vouch for the difficulty in the B6 4 cyl to the KL V6. I recently completed mine with an extensive amount of work. Still working out some bugs as well.
