For Sale
My mx3's job in life is to get me from point A to point B and preferably to back to point A at some point and look good while doing that. I have had help and suggestions from many people so far on here and that has let me come up with what I think will look like a really nice DD. These cars are also not so common in these parts so that makes it more fun for me.

Glad to see you started a work log! Are you going to keep the car white?

The very first thing I did was start cleaning. From their was the headunit conversion and install of a double din Dual 6.5" screen unit. I then have ordered the clear blinkers, short shifter and euro vents and hope to get some more euro and jdm stuff soon.

welcome to the forum!
your car looks great! i think you could really finish the interior if you made your headliner black as well to match your panels

Today I went to a junkyard about and hour away and was able to find a 4banger mx-3. It did not have much other then the black interior!! So I have taken possession of most of the interior. All for $50 usd...

I have to go back and grab some things I couldn't fit in the back but I have most of it. Unfortunately the seats were not black but some neon blue.. uhg!! oh well. I also was not able to get the door panels as they were manual crank windows and not power. Since I have not installed everything yet I don't have pics but they should be up soon.
I also have to add that the car had front mud guards and I test fit them on the rear and looks like they almost match up just the holes seem to be off a bit so I am going to do some work and make them fit.
The headliner will eventually go black but that is usually last on my list.

Well here is the first mock up of the rear splash guards made from a set of front ones I picked up for cheap. They look really good but I did some chopping of the abs plastic just to get the inside lines to match up to the rear bumper. Other then that they were perfect.

wow... yeah, not feeling the tan interior, either! Glad you managed to find a black interior - nice work getting it so cheap, too!
I found that the front & rear mudflaps are near identical, too, when I took mine off for painting... i was glad I labelled them! Ha ha
Good work with the fitting, looks like you got em to work real well
Oh, and about that Eunos steering wheel... If you hassel the chap from Mazparts WA, where I bought my bits & bobs from a month or two ago. He had a nearly complete Eunos 30x there at the time, and might be able to ship internationally if you do a bank transfer or something. I don't have an email address or anything, but I do have a phone number & fax number haha... Phone: (+618) 9274 8800 Fax: (+618) 9274 8822
Just remember that we're on GMT+8, so you might need to call at like midnight or something to get through to them during trading hours! haha (9am-5pm). They might also have some badges there, too...
[edit]: Better yet, check out the forum at
www.teameunos.com - it's an Australian forum for these cars & all others which were sold under the Eunos badge. I know there are about 3 guys parting out at the moment, most memorably a user called "alexxchung" who I think should be able to get you the parts you're after... You might even be able to find the 5-spoke Eunos rims there somewhere, too
