klze or klde?

Was just wondering if my engine is klze, it the curve neck one and i got the 9.5lb f1-racing flywheel with mfactory lsd and mx6 transmission. I can rev hard on 1st gear to 7k rpm without spinning the wheel fine when other say they couldn't on there klze. It make me wonder if it a klde. Any one with a klze that can rev to 7k rpm without spining?

Hold it at 7.5k for a few minutes and youll know if its a ZE

Spinning the wheels has nothing to do with the motor and more to do with your transmission and tires. They probably dont have an LSD and have cheaper tires. Btw I am assuming you know how the LSD works right?

Otherwise look in the v6 FAQ and it will show you the engine markings to identify the ZE vs DE

yeah i know how lsd work, just wanna how many people with a klze can lunch on first gear to 7k + rpm. Or have same setup i do or have diffrent setup. I have those falkan azinas 615 tires, n yeah they real sticky on summer, lol

What heads/cams do you have?

Thats what makes most of a ZE.

The kl36 cam i guess since it the curve neck klze, came with block plate egr and correct engine block code. I try to look tru the spark plug to check the piston but cant really see clear tru them little hole.

Then you've more than likely got a ZE.

You can't say what power it makes with a butt dyno. A DE should be more likely to spin the wheels on a clutch dump, but the KL will pull harder and harder from 4.5 an on, where the DE will start to fall on its face at 6.5. I own both a DE and a ZE car, I much prefer the feeling of driving the ZE, although the DE is torquier in the mid range.
