KL to K8 Flywheel available online!

So Rockauto.com has a new flywheel for the K8 for 48 bucks plus shipping. That's less than having it resurfaced at the shop. So just a FYI, if you have a KL, or you are doing work, might as well pick up a new one instead of surfacing your old one...
*Edit* this is also available for the B6 at the same price.

Good find! I didn't know it costs that much to resurface.

Only costs me $30..
Costs the shop about 5 minutes of labour, and a stone every few years.

I unfortunately can't drive up there and have your shop resurface it. It's double for these flywheels. something like a two step or whatnot, I don't remember the term. I just remember there's two different flywheels they resurface, and the cheap ones are 30. these aren't the cheap ones.

The difference between a stepped and flat flywheel is where the pressure plate bolts to it. K's are stepped, because the PP bolts on little legs.
It costs more to resurface a stepped flywheel because you need to remove x from the flywheel surface, and x from the PP mounting surface too.
