Hey guys, I just joined this forum again, I believe my old username was usnmazdamx3 or something like that. Anyway, My old key broke off in my ignition switch in my 1993 mazda mx-3 GS, and I really have no idea how to get it out. A locksmith is way too expensive. So, does anyone have ANY tips or tricks to getting out a broken key? Like a step-by-step guide on how to remove an ignition switch? oh, and it is about an inch in there, so I cant get it with pliers or anything. Thank you

Lock smith.... I think that's your only bet cause even if you take your
Whole ignition apart you still can't get at it. It should only be around 40 bucks I would think

Or you can start it with a screw driver from now on :)

Just start pulling the cylinder apart. You can get the end cap off and just push it out.

Carefully crazy glue just the exposed end of your key and then slid it in and keep pressure on it for 2 minutes. Pull out and there you have it. You may need to wiggle it first.

well the locksmith said it would be 80$ just to take the key out, but if he had to take it apart, it would be over 150.
and how do i take the end cap off? maybe I should take a pic of how far I got, because I dont really know what im doing, lol.
