Anyone know where to get a good deal on a pair of new hatch struts?
Advance Auto has them for $30 each.

Just like to add my buddy picked up a pair of rock auto hatch struts for his Probe... decent quality stuff, its hard to close the hatch. Still works after 2 or 3 years. Not bad for $30.

Anybody here have a success story of their Mx-3 ones? 2-3 years is enough for me to want a set.

I think you mis-understood, I said the same thing!
I'd drop $30 for 2-3 years of not letting it fall on my head when I'm grabbing tools!

No worries!
Also, removing hatch weight helps too! I forget who recommended it, but I should have realized it when I replaced mine last time. There's plenty of weight to remove on the hatch... PLENTY.
