Hi Guys,

I want to hook up my volt meter to my Millenia 110amp alternator.

Since I've converted from a 2 wire plug to a 3 wire plug I'd like to know which wire I could use best?

Thanks

Volt meter just needs volts, hook it up to any 12v line in the car...

Find the wire that gets 12v when cranking, and put that on one side of your switch, and 12v on the other. preferably the 12v from the 'on' position wire.

All you need is a test light...

My guess would be the lamp wire operates a lamp... another word for lamp is light bulb in modern days, so I'd think it might operate the charge light.

you just need to wire up the L and S wire from the old alt. then the 3rd wire goes to a key + ignition source. i just found a relay that got power with the key on, and tapped that for the 3rd wire.
