Im looking to buy some rear brake calipers and well i went to my partsoruce here in ottawa canada and they told me $134.99 each plus a $80 core ( I realize that id get the money back when I bring in the old ones). Thats way over my budget as I have already spent enough at that store and thinking im getting riped off. Can anyone suggest what ones to buy? Also when they say new do they mean remanufactured?. I can buy them online if need be but really need a part number to start. Im seeing some online for like $80 each and some as low as $50. Also was told from a shop that they can get me remanufacture ones for $80 a pop. Im not to sure if its worth it. Any suggestions?
Money is an option I cant fix the ones I have right now (my self). Told by 2 mechanics. Also I let the know that I can get do the labour myself. Im stuck in a tight spot right now. Looking for help outs thanks again

Go to your local NAPA and as long as you take in your old caliper you don't have to pay the core charge. I just did mine and they were like $68 and change each from NAPA.

I love Rockauto, they're like a turd, always coming through in a pinch. :) Delivery to Canada in about 3 days.

Yep. So far, I have no complaints about them. They're prompt to ship, serious, honest, and, even including shipping cost, still at least 20% cheaper than the auto part store. And they have lots of stuff the auto part store doesn't.

Ok, that's it. Quote of the muthaf'n day. Pat on the back optional

Back on topic:

They are cheaper than $1500 on a big break kit. Stopping is also more important than power, you can't put a price on your safety. Make sure you get a good product either way.
