KL vs K8 fuelfilter

Need help guys,my car started to lean out after 6.000 rpm on the dyno.I have a stadard K8 fuel filter on my KL 2.5 mazda mx3.The thing is there any diff between a KL fuel filter and K8,flow rate ect.just wonna know if i need to change the filter or not..ps My filter is only 4 mouths old.

I'm pretty sure your ok...I changed the fuel filter when my K8 was in the car..first time it was changed since the car was bought i'd imagine...was plugged pretty bad but still ran decent, I really can't see the filter being the problem.

I just looked them both up on rockauto...the MX-6 filter has a different angle on one of the lines for fitment reasons i'd think.

Problem probably lies in something else ie your injectors

Before jumping the gun, how lean? Can you post the dyno picture?

I'd not worry unless it was above 17:1.

mx6, mx3 v6 fuel filters are the same :P well atleast my part number wer when i ordered mine.

I put my SOHC filter on my DE, it runs fine :lol:

They aren't. At least not physically. Probably just different fitment...
