Removing Tail Lights...

How do i remove my tail lights (: aahahha i've unscrewed alot of the trim but i just cant seem to get to them.
1992 MX3, RS..Sanded... Short shifter,Seat Covers;) , Fart can that sounds decent (:
1992 MX3, GS. Lowered, 18in. chrome rims., Blacked out Tails, Weird Bodykit.

1 philips head screw near the middle of the back of the car on each light. Then you can either pull it straight off the back (might break clips) or push them off to the side.

there is also a plastic trim piece with 2 philips screws on the top of each light but you don't need to remove them.

Remove the screws along the top. Then pull. Pull so hard you think you're going to break it. Little clips are tough buggers. I thought I was going to break mine and got scared. After getting pissed off it's amazing how things just pop off.

did u get it out yet... i have THE sure fire way to get it out if you havent... and im a girl.... LOL!

Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

oh man hahhahhah thats so much easier. i just taped off around the tail lights and painted them. looks way good tho. thank you tripleMX-3chicMS hahahah didnt know "a little palm action" could work so well... i tried pulling them straight off.. didnt work too well. hahah

NOTICE: You DO need to unscrew the top pieces, and the screws to the inside of the lights, if you don't want to break anything. Then it's fairly easy to push them to the outsides of the car, and pop them out.

It's kind of like on a cooking show... all the tedious stuff is already done so the viewers don't have to wait & watch.

nice work on the removal vid haha I've never done it that way... maybe that's why I have broken alot of clips :oops:
