Hi,
I would like to learn how to change tyres on my Iveco split rims. Has anyone got any advice or a link to a photo step by step guide? I am also going to shot blast the rims and wonder if it will be a problem to hand paint them whilst in pieces?

honestly, leave it to someone who knows what they are doing and that has the right tools. tires are not something you want to be screwing around with, even more so when you don't know what you're doing.

i agree, unless you have a tire machine, leave it to the pros.
althought not hard to do at all, most people don't own tire machine worth thousands of dollers

The rims you mentioned are truck wheels right ?

It is possible to change a tire the hard manual way, motorcycle guys do it all the time. I know over here princess auto sells cheap manual tire machines for about 150 bucks that work for up to 16" rims. that would be nice to have at the home garage

well i should probably clear up that changing the tire isn't the problem, that's easy just takes effort, but either way you'll have to get them balanced

x2, not every shop has a balancing machine

If they have the machine to mount tires, why wouldn't the have a balancing machine?

I know how to use both, I don't own either

Ya, would be quite sad is a place that mounted didn't balance tires either.
