There is a section in the shop manuel about suspension where you can find some numbers. However the oe coil are not linear therefore rate is variable (first portion soft then harder). from my recent test with coilover, i would say about 170 frt and 150 rear but that is only my opinion (nothing officiel or tested). Hope it helps

Thanks...
Somehow it helped. If you consider that the h&r spring rate(which i had in my car) is 550 front and 259 rear or 55N/mm,front and 26N/mm rear. The problem is that here in Greece and i think in Europe too the only h&r spring they have for mx3 is 29881 with red color. Here is the link http://www.srbpower.com/hr/springs.php?Make=MAZDA.They" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; drop the car 1.8.Now do you know any good strut to handle this drop or maybe a softer spring?I had them for six months with kyb gr2.They were too hard. Now i am with oem springs again!!

Regards
Alexander

The way i see it is that oem is the best(include KYB GR2) unless you want either style or performance. You can get style with a lowering kit to wathever height you want but MOST of the time you'll loose all other aspect of suspension or you go coil-over with mod and nothing bolt-on then you do whatever you want. I would consider D2 if I was in Europe or around like you. I want with STD and will be trying a soft version of rate this comming week-end

STD is NOT selling suspension for MX-3, we adapted the Protoge 5 (or Mazda 3 do not recall sorry) model changing rear knuckle and getting shims in front due to new wider wheel base. For riding in bumps, will be attending our first ice race tomorrow so I will find out then so far the set-up we had was to hard for what we wanted
