Klze swap....

Hola all im getting a klze ive looked at a few postes on it. My question is i found a klze complete from Tiger something japan. 750 it has between 25-30k miles on it. Is it worth the 750. Id give a link but im on my itouch so im a bit limited. It has a straight neck.

Sounds like you need to have a bit more knowledge in your brain.

Does it have the right cams? the right heads? its super easy to swap an intake onto a DE and sell it for $500 more.

Do you know which ECM, and VAF you need?

Do you know the phone number of the place you got it from? The name is important too.

What colour is it under a valvecover?

750 is a good price, depending on where you live...

Tiger Japanees definitely has ZE's but be warned. You need to know what your looking for because they won't do much to help you out. Take your time and check the engine really well. They broke my engine block removing the tranny and never told me. They loaded it on my truck and if I hadn't doulbe checked I would of driven away with a bad motor.

I've heard of more than a few people getting crap motors from them and they do not take returns or refunds... So like Ryan said, make sure you get the right thing the first time.

The KLZE I recently got was purchased about 6 years ago from Tiger, and has ran fantastic since then, should I be worried?

You should be fine. They just screw you on the sale of the motor. Either a DE or damaged. There's plenty of horror storried of Tiger Japan screwing people on here. The only way, go there yourself, pick the motor, pick it up yourself and reinspect it before you leave.
