i noticed from looking around that the rims are different.

The Precidia is much better. We have Daytime Running Lights, NO auto seatbelts and we have 95-96 wrap around spoiler for the GS. However I don't believe airbags were an option on the Precidia..I've never seen one.
As well the special edition is only Precidia right?

precidia also sounds pretty. prettier than miata or mystere
Im curious, is the MX6 known as mx6 mystere in the USA, or is that canada only ?

Mazda had a lot of names for cars in different countries. The Mx-3 is an example. Eunos Presso, Eunos 30X, Autozam AZ3, Mazda AZ3, Precidia, MX-3
