when i turn on my heat/ac the blower makes a huge racket. it sounds like a fan blade is hitting something. any ideas on how this can be adjusted/replaced/fixed?

Pull the blower unit out and see what's going on. Just need to remove glove box and surrounding panel. Should be three 10 mm nuts holding the unit in place, and a plastic fastener holding the air duct to it.

hehe sounds like you have a extra motor in your car :P
my fan is doing the same thing, but not that bad, but I'm
too lazy to take it out and looking at it :)

I swear years ago I saw a replacement fan assembly online somewhere. Not that bad $-wise IIRC...

Those leaves will keep coming back, because there's no cabin filter above the blower.

the best part of it is that all those leaves are from trees that were around the drive way from where i bought it.
no maple leaves found :P

I have the same problem also with a noisy fan; however, when I turn my fan up not only does it make a lot of noise, but I get a strong rubber smell (almost like something is burning)

could be the fan motor seizing up
