Rear Tie Bar Instalation

need some help installing my rear tie bar.. anyone?? i know where it mounts on and all that, but im just not to confident and would like the help of someone who has done it before.

Are you talking about a strut bar, or the performance rod that bolts to the rear-end under the car?

If it's the performance rod, the installation specs are in the online manual under the suspension heading. If it's the strut bar...it's pretty straight-forward... remove the nuts from the strut mounts, put the strut bar on, and put the nuts back on...

it's not hard at all. I did mine in like 45 mins or so. Just two long bolts that come out and you carefully put it on and put bolts back on.
Magnum s/s lines, strut bars, carbon fiber bezel, indiglow gauge, Sony Xplod, inverted c/f hood, SRD lower tie bar '93 GS SE '95 Cobra SVT #2722 '68 Charger R/T 440

lol wow 45 minutes is a lonngg time to do that, you probably did it in way less time then that . but your right its literally 2 bolts and then putting them back on,

see i started using the impact gun to take em out, but it looks like the is a nut on the end of the bolt, and i wanted to pull the nut off, but it seemed like the entire bolt was comming out... maybe ill spray some pen oil on it than try it out

You have to hold nut with a wrench while unscrewing bolt with a socket from other end.

Or you can save your time and not look for them there. They were an SRD product. They have not been made for several years.

yea i bought a replica from jimmie pearson... he was selling battery straps and tie bars, not too sure if he still has any to sell or not. look him up in the facebook group, you should be able to find him!
