Just took my v6 on a 95 for it's Mot this week. The car has been off the road for nealy 2 years, it ran fine up to the garage about 2 miles away, passesd the mot no probs. On the way back on a roundabout the engine died, eased off and it fired back up and ran fine. went back to the same bit of road and it did it again. it runs perfect otherwise and will rev cleanly to the redline.
Tank is half full with fresh fuel, fuel filter was changed last year and the strainer cleaned etc. It will start first time every time and will idle smoothly.
Please any ideas i am supposed to be taking it on a track day soon with my son.
Engine cuts out .

Re: Engine cuts out .
Agreed!. Try your disty
My distributor is really lose at the moment, you can turn it with one finger. If I go over a speed bump wrong, car will shut off.
Just need to find a timing gun so I can put it on correctly.
