Boucing idle only when brake is pressed

I've read through a bajillion posts on what this could be.

things i've done to date is:
1) check for vacuum leaks, replaced with a CAI, sprayed lines with TB cleaner, checks out fine
2) added grounding wires daisychained (was told toa dd one to alternator but haven't done this yet)
3)replaced TB, IACV and distributor with working ones pulled off of a friends car (that didnt have idle problem)
4)adjusted TPS, the idle cable thing
5)adjusted idle with 10 and ground
6) tested battery, starter and alternator

the thing that really bugs me is that it only happens when brake is pressed, could it possibly be a dying alternator? it was tested at canadian tire and everything checked out, but i think i read somewhere in here that it could still be a problem

it does seem to be some sort of electrical issue, and the bounce only happens a once to a couple times, but every time i stop.

does anyone have any more ideas? lol

edit: i should mention that i DIDN"T have this problem yest after i did 3) but today it was raining really hard and when i went to drive, i noticed the idle problem was back....(i had like <24 hours of happiness as i thought the car was fixed but it could have just been fluke yest that it didnt bounce)

i checked the PCV valve as per the manual (blowing through ends etc to check - it tasted gross)
checked out fine?

actually this is a stupid question... but which one is the PCV valve the red or the green... i checked the red one... cause that actually looked like the picture of the valve here:

http://mx-3.com/manuals/showimg.php?fil ... F1-129.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and also the green one doesnt come out... its like a metal tube...and i added a breather to it.

The red one is the PCV valve.

Also, adjusting the TPS does not have anything to do with the throttle linkage cable. It's a matter of probing a certain two terminals of the TPS connector with a multimeter, and physically moving the TPS until the proper resistance is seen by the multimeter.

Not sure if that's what you'd done...

well i reset the ecu...and added a ground wire to the alternator....
and its now WORSE haha -_-; it used to bounce ~3 times every time i came to a stop....but now it just bounces a lot...

i'm going to buy a new PCV valve and try to take the intake off and play with the butterfly valve on the TB and reset the TPS accordingly tonight......stupid car :( then hopefully reset the idle.its idling a tad high after the reset...

HMMM...if it's only happening when the brake is pressed, than it's gotta be electrical(at least that's what I'd assume)
Sounds like a bad ground or short. Also, check for vaccumn leak where brake booster connects to intake manifold.

only happens when the engine is hot too...if its cold drives around fine :\ part soruce has some pcv valves in stokc so i'll try that and the TB adjustment again after work

edit: i don't even know how to sort through an electrical issue.... i've added grounding wires everywhere too...

It won't be electrical.

well it wasn't the PCV valve....gonna play aroudn with the TB and TPS adn try resetting idle again :(

interesting...the idle seems stable for now...

what i did:

1)replaced the pcv
2)replaced the hose from brake booster to intake
3)closed the butterfly valve a bit (this was random closing since i didnt take the TB off, luck i guess)
4)adjusted TPS sensor
5) reset idle to 1k with 10 and ground

now its bounce free!...for now. i hope it lasts more than a day! *knock on wood*
