Hi everyone I took notice that my drivers side window will not lock in place. If I roll it all the way up I can easily push it back down. What can I do to fix that? thanks in advance :)

bungee cord on the handle.

Haha.

I took off my handle and repositioned it so at full close the handle is being pulled down by gravity. Helped a lot.

Sorry I meant push down on the glass.. So actually while the window is all the way up and door is locked basically anyone can break in and just push down on the glass to get the door open..

Does the handle spin when you do this?

Or does it skip the teeth?

Um, I'm not entirely sure but I think you need to replace the window runners.

No I don't think so. I think you need the vinyl cups that hold the window, not the actual regulator. not sure though, don't quote me on any of this.

Thanks agian Ryan.. I think I am going to change the whole thing since it is all rusted and making it hard to roll up the window no matter how much times I grease it.
