drive shafts help

rite i poped my shafts out other day to see a c clip type thing come out with them, any idea how to refit the clip

That clip came from the tranny side? It holds the axle in, no? like any other C clip/retaining ring.

I dont' know if you can buy that separately. I've had this problem befroe myself and I've never figured out how to replace just the clip.
Just bend it back to as close to round as you can and put it back on. It should be faily tight in the groove of the shaft or it will be nearly impossible to get out the next time.

Go buy some from Autozone and swap the clips and just return the axle.
