quick question about K8 head bolts

K8 engine is still at my house. I want to sell it to a junkyard. Need to take it apart first.
Can I just a regular 13mm socket to take off the head bolts or is there is a special socket to take them off?

Thanks

That's weird most socket sets here are 12 point.

Ok I found one

Another question, do the 2 allen bolt on each head have to also be removed or is it just the 8 12mm 12pt bolts on each head?

Pretty sure it's just the 12 mm ones.

Yep, you just take out the eight head bolts (in each cyl head) and the head should pull right off. Also, the right cylinder head has the egr valve on it so you'll have to take that off or else it won't pull off. It suprised me that the head bolts were only 12mm and 12point at that when I re-did my head gaskets.
