I have read alot of posts on here about this due to the fact that mine done the same thing. After i installed my new intake, the time that it... "choked out" lessend. It used to take time to warm up more or less. I havent had any problems with it though. I usually just go out and start the car, and then head in to grab my stuff.
Another thing i do is remove the throttle body completely and clean it with carb cleaner. I also sprayed out the collant flow pieces as well. After it dried, put it back on and the time lessend even more. But if it bothers you too much, maybe seeing a ford or mazda mechanic???

Ha i know im going to sound pretty stupid for saying this but my neighbor (mechanic of 25 years) says it migh need a simple tune up. spark plugs wires ect. have you tried that? i havent done my tune up yet im waiting for some cash but i think that should solve the prob?

Definitely start with simple stuff first like spark plugs and spark plug leads. They are the basic things you need for a smooth running engine. Just having 1 cylinder firing at 50% will make the car feel terrible. So give it a good tune up first then look at things like cleaning throttle bodies, repairing intake etc.
