from what car can i pull an upgrade for the 1.6 sohc?

that part u really can't other parts of ur sohc u can upgrade.. but u won't get a big difference in power..

so as far as your concerned whats the best things to do for the sohc? do you know of any after market cams?

There isnt much at all for the 1.6 sohc except plugs, wires, cone filter, coil. If you are looking for power, you are better off swapping in a BP. 40hp for around $500 for the swap is better than spending roughly $200 for a cam that will get you maybe 5-10hp.
