This is the only part of the movie I was disgusted with.

In a movie primarily focused at people with an interest in automotives, seriously,
the drive shaft and exhaust just dont take a hike.

Im not rating the movie just pointing this out, it does not spoil the movie.

I've seen a movie where they blow up a porshe. as it flips, you see the tailipes are only 1' long and welded to the bumper. It makes sense they wouldn't blow up a 60k car in a 5s scene in a movie with a budget of probably 500k :P

Its really expensive to wreck a real car. that car was probably a junker of the same model of hte intended car, cheap sprayed the right colour, if that.

I"m gonna go ahead and suggest that this movie is effectively unspoilable...I know it's not a word, but you get my point.

The sub frame looks brand new. After having a second look I think what they
did is bolt up a new subframe to a wrecked shell and launch it.
Next time they should include a driveshaft and halfass some mangled exhaust

I haven't seen it yet, but in general, I think people over-analyse movies. Just enjoy the movie for what it is, nothing more, nothing less.

I don't get to enjoy movies, because I can't suspend disbelief. I catch things in movies all the time, and figure out plots right away. Every time there's a car wreck, I look to see evidence that it's just a shell.
I should be a continuity checker.
