Well I figured since I'm going to be going to a bunch of autocross events with Stereoking15 and Fowljesse that we should have a place to post all the pics etc...

I'm going to start with much older pics from last year... warning this thread will contain possibly inappropriate non-mx-3 material !!

those are sportmax 618, i think they are discontinued now but may availabe as xxr, or other brand. these are some good times!! my run sucked when it snowed!! too damn slick!!

So last weekend Stereoking15 and I went up to the Smackdown IV in Packwood, WA. It rained for about half the time on Friday and Saturday and then most of the day on Sunday so the drag was cancelled.

Final results in Autocross out of 87 cars:
Mooneggs: 15th overall, 8th with PAX
Stereoking15: 18th overall, 13th with PAX

Dana would have beat me if his runs were as dry as mine (he ran earlier in the morning and I ran later after the pavement had dried).

Now that I have a Go Pro HD camera I can start providing excellent HD video footage! I'm now running in SMF (Street Modified Front wheel drive) class.

Stereoking15 and I went up to Portland International Raceway last Sunday to go racing with the Porsche Club. We each got 8 runs which is double what we normally get with SCCA (for the same price). Neither of us is concerned about points this year, more about seat time so this was great! Dana beat me by about half a second (he was in a different class but we usually compare raw for raw even though I still have street tires) but I didn't get a good video of his fastest run...

I went to another event yesterday with another member of our team (she drives the red SRT-4) near Bend, OR (central oregon) at Hoodoo (ski/snowboard mountain). Pretty cool venue! The course was pretty long and relatively straight forward once you knew where to go (it crossed over 3 times). I continue to do well considering I'm still running street tires and haven't installed my coilovers yet...

A little late in posting this... I went to the SCCA National Tour that came through Packwood, WA on 7/16 and 7/17. It was a great experience to be competing against nationally ranked drivers!

I came in last in my class (SMF) since I was not running on slicks (to be expected at an NT event!) Also I received dissapointing news that I cannot use the CF/Lexan hatch running in this class I guess the good side is that I think this will help my overall weight distribution as well... I may run a different class in the Race Car (XP) once I get it going again!

For some reason I didn't get alot of pics from this event even though there were a ton of amazing cars there... However, I did get a few pics of my car up on a nice mountain road lol

I helped (well maybe I just watched lol) Stereoking15 with his brake fluid flush and adding new fluid, front rotor turning, rear rotor media blasting/scuffing, replacing front pads. This was all in the ferrari garage where he works... Just happened to have a 430 Scuderia in there...

First race of the season is the 2012 Icebreaker in Coburg, OR next Sunday on 3/4
