How about V6 some gear ratio clarification...

While I quite enjoy reading about G6 trannies and Yoda's Frankenstein, it just fluffs up good research. So I'd like to piece together the simplest way to drop my gear ratio with a little table of car vs gearing.
This isn't my forte. I just want to make searching a little easier, so I'll edit. All help/additions/corrections will be appreciated!

Mx-3 GS - 4.388

Mx-6 LS - 4.11

626 LX/ES (?) - 4.11

Probe GT - Apparently there's some disagreement here.

It's been said that earlier PGTs were endowed with the 4.11 and some later ("96-97") were 4.388.
I've also seen the opposite... and then there's a possibility that all PGTs are 4.388.
This is from the forums and some googling.
Right now the safe bet for better gas mileage looks like Mx-6/626.

I still say that all Probes have 4.39:1. I know some who found 4.11's in Probes, but a VIN cross check showed them to have originally come from an Mx-6. Just cause you get it from a car, doesn't mean it wasn't swapped before hand, even from the factory.

Very true.

Any tips on locating clean/rebuilt trannies?
