What's happenin folks! 94 base model with the push button HVAC. My question is the bulbs in this unit. I have some burnt ones. How do you change them?

Thanks,

Chris

P.s. i have tried the search with no luck. That's why i'm posting.

I don't have that dash style, but I would assume you have to dismantle the dash a bit.

Did you try the online manuals? They will definately tell you.

Wow..

Let me start by saying I spent about 30 min disasembling a perfectly fine 94 hvac only to find that I didnt need to take it all apart...

All the buttons are LED, so they should not burn out. If they do, get a new HVAC from a wrecker..

If the bar area goes out (the cold/hot area and the OFF 1 2 3 4 area) then you can fix that as there are 2 bulbs. However, you need to get a specific bulb from mazda or the wreckers.. They look like this:

Here is the plastic peice that the light is dispursed on:

Here are the flaps to take off to get at the light and screw them out:

You must take the hvac out to do this, or at least far enough to get at the top part. Its proly a good idea to get one from the wreckers or buy mine!! PM me if you want it.
