Paint Progress

Should be the final pics before it gets sprayed. I stopped by today and it was primered in black. Supposed to paint it next week sometime.

Rear hatch lock shaved, wiper nozzles shaved front/rear, antenna shaved, rear badges shaved.

Sorry if the pics are a little grainy. It was getting dark when I took the pics.

u pretty much shaved everythin i shaved off of mine (The new mazda emblem looks good in place of the hatch lock imo)
i didnt shave the nozzles tho.. y did u do that?
n wats the final colour gonna be?
im thinkin about redoin my car in BMWs toledo blue metallic in the summer
and getting silver motegi ff7s put on :D
looks good cant wait to c the final results :)

I shaved the wiper nozzles because I don't like them, and I haven't had reservoirs for them to spray from in years. It's never an issue here in Florida.

For the color the paint guy is working up a custom color. Nothing wild, just a solid color a little darker than it used to be.

I like your idea of the blue metallic with silver wheels. That will look really nice. I thought about going blue, but the car's nickname kinda dictated my color options.

damn nozzles here in canada r vital and one of my wiperblades isnt working properly and even that is such a pita
especially when u get so much slush during warmer winter days :s
yeh sounds cool
gonna prep and paint the car myself like i did both times b4
its not hard at all jus time consuming cuz u have pay attention to detail :)
ill be doing it in the summer and posting pics too
keep us updated wit new pics tho :)
