Ever thought a stock pick up truck could whip your ZE MX-3 well I was in for a rude awakening. http://www.canadiandriver.com/testdrive ... htning.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Lesson here is, never take anything for granted. lol

Yeah, it's crazy. On a really good day, in perfect conditions, you could get 20mpg in a straight line on a perfect freeway surface, and for the price, you could buy a sports car, or build 10 MX-3s that would whip it :) . Mooneggs' roommate has one that's hot rodded (IIRC, it's 500HP). At the drags, there were a couple of low 14 sec. or lower trucks. There was a 13 sec. turbo diesel 4x4 that was ridiculous, and we had to wait for the exhaust smoke to clear, so we could run.
If I ever tragically lose Jesse jr., I may get the urge to buy something like it.
However, my manhood is firmly intact, and I'll continue to enjoy my "girl's car"

It's not the only fast truck out there

I'm sure the launches on that much really pin you back.

Theres a few of them around my area. One of the guys at work just got one this summer. Id rather have a Cobra myself. I don't see use of this "truck" when I would need to haul something. Im not even going to talk about winter driving......useless.

Well, we're talking about trucks that existed back when the Mx-3 was in production. There's plenty of fast trucks out now I'm sure.

And if the bailout doesn't go through, pushing that chevy is all you'll be able to do when the dealerships close down.
