1500 degree grease?

The ball and socket joint in my exhaust sticks, so I'm going to lube it with graphite dust. However, it won't stick, and would probably just come out. I'd like to know if there's any catalyst that could hold it in place, without burning.

I think when you get longer bolts and use the springs it will move much easier.

dont forget if you are putting grease on that ball socket it will attract dirt/road grime...which will in turn put grime into the joint....and nobody likes grime in their joint!

Yeah, I was hoping for a catalyst like dry silicone lube used for guns.. I used this combo on bearings, and they run FAST! Even on bearings that ran through water, and dirt(rollerblades, skateboards, etc..) Maybe I'll try exactly that. And yes, the spring thing will help, but I wanted to keep it a little tight, anyway, because they are prone to exhaust leaks.
