Call me a traitor but I just bought an MX-6

Ok found a like new 178,000klm 94 V6 MX-6. In Canada rust rules so this is a rare find. No rust, underside is mint and the interior is like new. Bad points, it's an auto tranny (oh well I'm getting old lol) and the paint is gold, ouch. Other than that it's fully loaded and everything works. Even has nice after market mags. So now I'll have both ZE MX-3 and MX-6 for the family and towing. I guess this means I'll be selling my pristine, no rust, new brakes, very nice shape, just certified and E tested, totally stock 95 GS. hint hint

LOL

Big question now is what the hell do you do with gold. I need a colour that looks cool but will still go with the brown/gold interior. I'm looking for leather seats but it'll still be some spinoff of beige/gold. Where's the black spray bomb? lol

At least its still a Mazda :)

Yeah, the gold is awful. We have a baby blue one at the shop, I think gold may be worse.

...Can't go wrong sticking with Mazda!
I actually had a 93 MX-6 before getting my MX-3. I like both...Actually, I like alot of the early 90's Mazda's. :D

Ya I have a 38 KV Scarab that I've raced professionally for about 3 years so I need to pull it. Kidding. I have a little utility trailer and I always seem to need to do dump runs.
I really need to get that gold paint fixed. Any suggestions on colour. The interior is beige. I'll post a few pics.

White might look good w/ that color interior. My girlfriends civic is white w/ similar interior, doesnt look bad.

I really like white even tho I've been told it's more of a girls colour?? Always lots of questions and ideas whenever you get a new toy. I've already got a line on leather interior up grade.

Pwaha. Girl's color. That's a funny old debate, like what cars are "Girl cars"
If anyone says it's a girl color, Pimp slap them like an outta line Ho. I say while pearl, or for about $80, Tremclad white. I'm pimping the "$50 Paint Job"
Speaking of the former, mostly Integra owners say the MX-3 is a girl's car. Check this out. It's not a Teggy, but close enough:

People who think mx3's are girly cars obviously have never driven one...

What makes the Mx-6 any different than the Mx-3 for towing? I though Mazda condoned towing on all their cars.

My manual says Mazda does not recommend towing with any of their passenger vehicles. I've towed with my "GSR" It has plenty of power, stiff suspension, and braking. I got the tow hitch on Ebay cheap. I wouldn't do it all the time, and would rather beat up an MX-6
