Hello all, I have 2 new HO2 sensors to replace. They are 4 wires and I need to crimp onto the old plugs as the new sensors have crimps on the end. On the new sensors I have the following cables and what they do;

Black - Signal to Computer
Grey - Earth
White x2 - Heater

But on the old sensor I have 2 Blacks a white and a Blue and I don’t know what they do so can connect them. I would at a guess put the 2 whites and 2 blacks together but don’t want to get the other 2 around the wrong way as ones a earth and ones a signal wire. Can anyone help me on this please?

Also how do you reset the error codes on the ECU?

Not sure on the O2 Sensor wires but to reset the ecu you unhook the negative from the battery and hold the brake pedal for 30 seconds to deplete any energy in the system.

I Posted indepth info on oxygen sensors. Do a search and it'll tell you everything you need to know. The sensors you have aren't meant for that car so go and buy Denso ones that are. That's my advise to you.

easy way to figure it out for 4 wire options

2 of the wires will always be the same color, these are the for heater, doesnt matter what way you wire these, ie, two black,or whites or reds
the black/greys/browns wires are normally the grounds
blue/yellow/purple/ wires etc are the signal
