I had a lead on a $600 SE, but someone got it before me.
There's a $2700 SE, but yeah, it doesn't run. 2700, was the lowest he was willing to go for now. That's too much for my blood. at least its lower than the original 3200...
A $200 GS, come on, 200 dollars!!!! (its CRAP though) He won't return my phone calls or emails...
A $700 GS, did respond to my emails, but I think I scared the person off. Too many questions maybe? I drill the guy with them...I was/is serious about that car....

Come now, 4 GS's in less than 2 weeks and I still don't have one.

I have the cash in hand to get the underlined ones, but how am I supposed to buy them if they don't respond to me?

Shameem, that V6 must've just been put up. I've been hounding craigslist in indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I think I have like 40 ads saved under favorites. ok...32...plus whatever I have bookmarked on firefox (5)..

I've never seen that one. hmmmm....Must contact seller!! Haha, it was put up last night, lmao.

Well....a little bit of both actually. My intent was to buy two that suck, and make one good.
Buy one with a respectable body
Buy one with a crappola body but with a good motor.

It looks to have some rust But if its just surface rust I think I'ma go for it.
$800 seems a little high for a car that needs a new waterpump, battery, tires, brakes, and lip. Either its lowered really far, or the struts are shot too. It sat for a while so I might be able to get a good deal.

What do you guys think?

Its not wrecked....but the guy was seeming kinda shady. I asked the guy how bad the rust was, like if it was rusted through. He never said; he just said, "yeah, there's rust." That immediately told me not to even bother.

I'm just going to scoop up a cavalier for now. I'm surprised on how nice they are and for so cheap.(cars that actually run AND drive) I'll give the cavi to my momma seeing how that stupid thunderbird keeps breaking. *sigh* I'll just have to deal without a working/legal car for a little bit longer.

There's a Sunfire 4 streets down from me that I'm going to look at. http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/908670251.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They want $1000, but I can talk them down. (maybe get it for $600?) I'll get my brother to come with (with my Sunfire) and be like, "you see that car? I paid $300 for it and it runs." There's a recall on the computers for Sunfires. Some genius decided to put it in the fender. (road salt+corrosive metal housing=dead compy) Replace that, and all is good.

What ever car I do buy, it will be going to my mom. She likes mx-3's but she has a hard time getting in and out of them.
