I've noticed when I really press the pedal down, at around 5K rpm's... The sound changes. You might think i'm stupid for saying this, but the sound, is about like when vtec kicks in on a honda. Could this be VRIS that I am hearing or something?
I don't hear it everytime, but sometimes I will notice it when I'm giving it alil hell.

As long as you're not in full throttle position, you will hear that noise..and a sudden tiny power surge as well.. but it doesn't happen with full throttle position. So I believe it's the VRIS

I've read what VRIS is... But could you say it works basiclly like a secondary butterfly in a way?
