I got 2 problems after the 5pd/KLZE swap

Key doesnt want to come out of the ignition. I try to turn it all the way down to the position where its suppose to come out of the key. Thing is, it wont want to turn all the way down. It only wants to stay at START.

And two, I think its going to be the spark. Waiting for someone to test it out.
I turn the ignition, the crank turns over but thats it. All I hear is the crank turn over. It doesnt want to fire up. The only sound it makes is the crank turning over. I dont believe its going to be the starter. Im pretty sure its connected right.

I dont believe its the fuel because I sniffed around the fuel rail 17mm bolt, and it smells like fuel (not strong).

If its not the spark... which I believe it will be but..., can it be the timing?
Im thinking its going to be the disty.

your ignition problem is due to it having the safety slider from when it was a auto, there is a peice of plastic that shifts only allowing it to start in park or neutral. you have to take the cover off and play with it, i removed the plastic peice and it works just fine. no start could be from the fuel lines back wards, if you re and re a motor and plug everything back in that is one of the few problems besides a missing ground wire.

Pull a spark plug out, wire connected, and ground off the plug to a part of your car (like the frame or something), check to see if youre getting spark.

If you are, and its still not starting, then your rotor is in the wrong position, play with it and hopefully she will start.

Good luck.
