Is it just me, or is the site slowing down? Maybe its the awesome summerness that lets lots of us want to be outside? It kinda sucks, I like being able to spend an hour a day reading new posts... now it only takes an hour a week...

You got the bug, and now you want more.
Most of us have been through it.
There's an ebb, and flow, and right now there's a lull in the action. It's a good time to do searches, and just go back through your favorite categories. You'll learn stuff you wouldn't have though of, otherwise, and maybe revive old topics for fresh discussion. You'll find favorite authors like patdiesel, Tunes67, and Yoda. This, in my opinion, is how you join the family.

Alot of people are leaving, remember, these cars are old now.

Its always been kind of slow because of the rarity of these cars to begin with. Then you have alot of the older members getting different cars as they get older in age, and the fact that these cars are getting junked everyday doesnt help with site membership numbers. It makes it a closer knit community though, thats the flipside.

I joined a year ago (when I got my MX3) and now I have 2 mx3's and a massive project, that I never would have started w/o this site. It is true though, I have seen many people saying goodbye in the last year, and a few joining the site, but not all who join have the devotion that the older members did to their cars and the site.

Alot of people just plain dont have the money right now.

I'm new and OLD and I've got 4 of these Babies. These cars are so cheap to do up. A ZE for $750 bucks. Come on. Out with the old and in with the new, well not me though. lol I just meant life changes. I think we're still kicking it here and if you read some of the other vehicle forums I think there's still more common sense knowledge here than on a lot of other sites. Props to all of you,,,

Yeah, Beaverton describes it right, but the ton is divided among less carriers than you are imagining.

Yup, slowin a bit cuz there are fewer MX-3's (and owners) out there. Plus the warmer months mean other stuff going on in ppl's lives too. For me, I have other seasonal commitments that make it tough squeezin in time to work on the rides right now, let alone surfin the board. That'll change as cold weather comes in tho.
